I don't think I'd have an RV but a boat is a possibility. It would clear under a 9ft door though so I'm considering dropping the ceiling to 10ft.

It would put me over budget, unless I took out depth to make up for it. I used google sketchup for drawing. It's 2ft in the middle, 4ft on the sides. That should be adequate? I had thought about widening both doors so that it would be 2ft on the sides as well.
