Well I can get the door open with the opener, but it's a little slower and I wonder if it puts too much strain on the other torsion spring.

Why would you think that. Sorry it is one of the trosion springs that broke. Can I run the opener with one spring...I can barely lift the door in manual mode.

Had a spring break overnight..can't get one local...gonna be a few days. Question is can I run it with only one spring? Also anybody have a good source online to get one....mine spring is a short one......2"ID, .207 wire and the length of the broken spring is 19.66"
