Have 2 of those sets bought them for the allen head bits. Use them exclusively in a cordless drill and havent had any problems. I do set the clutch appropriately for the application. I just dont see the point in paying 10x more for something that lasts only 2 or 3 times as long. Also if I drop a...
I would love to be in an areawith cheap mac and snap on boxes. Our craigslist is full of smashed up rusty snap on boxes with misc junk filling the drawers usually bolts and nuts and old plug wires for $2500 +. I think used go in at 450 and everyone gets a fair deal.
I have that setup in black but ball bearing grip latch. Bought it new minus the seperate full width drawer. Paid less than 700 out the door with uncle sams cut. Its not a snap on but its far superior to the harbor freights every holds so high. The drawers are smooth as silk and do not twist. It...
Hell of a vice for a hell of a price. I have a Wilton bullet at work it's smooth but not really that much better than any other vice and I wouldn't have it if the company didn't pony up the cash for it. I wouldn't be ashamed to display that craftsman on my bench. Definetly a treasure from a...

Getting a bit side tracked here. I have the dewalt and use it as a supplement to my cordless collection and love it. It does have a bit of wobble in the chuck at slow speed but has never affected anything for me.
Grumpy old ******* I worked with said this to everyone he didn't trust "People that work here are called employees. Employees provide there own tools." I teach in a technical college and am willing to lend anything to a student as long as it's not on their required tool list, and when they have...
Paid $18 for that gear wrench set at menards a couple weeks ago couldn't leave them onthe shelf they were so cheap. At the time didn't think I would use them much but have become very handy. Very nice fit and finish
Re: made in china craftsman anygood?
Btw I can't tell the difference when I am actually working with them (sockets) compared to other brands or coo. I use mine professionally and have not broken a single china made one yet even with occasional misuse.
Re: made in china craftsman anygood?
Just picked up a 3/8 set with rp ratchet in standard and metric for 9.99 each can't buy the cheap junk for less than $20 and get 2 ratchets and 20 sockets. Perfect glove box sets. I have no problem paying the money for better ratchets but for the money it's...
