Good find! Those were the type used on board several of the Coast Guard cutters I was stationed on back before the Vidmars became popular. The latching mechanism was to prevent the drawer from sliding open when the ship took a roll.

I recently bought a Milwaukee Porta-Band but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. It should be a good fit in my 18x20 shop. The SWAG stands look to make a great tool even more useful. I’d never heard of them before reading this thread.
