    Hazet tool thread

Hello Everyone, I'm looking for a little information on a Hazet tool roll and tools that I bought at an estate sale of someone who appeared to have serviced German cars many years ago. I think that these tools are what is known as little "a" with an underline. At first, I thought that this set...

    Wurth hand tools on sale

As a follow-up to the great COO question, I ultimately received the 31 piece 1/2" socket set and it has this printed on the outer cardboard box: The tools appear to be of good quality, but I think that unless the tools themselves are stamped "Germany", this is where they are made.

    Wurth hand tools on sale

Hi Griff, As far as I know, the only response from Würth was not very clear and was this: "All of the Würth ZEBRA® Tools are imported from Künzelsau, Germany." The Würth wrenches that I received are unmarked as to COO. I would much rather have the words "Germany" appear on the tools, like...

    Wurth hand tools on sale

I agree with antman in that I am very happy with the tools that I received, but am still curious as to the true COO. That being said, you can see that I over-ordered. These are not their final storage spots, but the tools look ok. One thing I will say about the wrenches - I remember how we...

    Wurth hand tools on sale

Thanks for this info. I think it's really helpful to have someone like you on the forum. Without trying to start an argument, when you say that the Wurth ZEBRA tools are imported from Kunzelsau, does that mean that the Wurth ZEBRA tools are also manufactured in Germany? I think this is what...

    Wurth hand tools on sale

I wouldn't say that we are 100% certain that the screwdrivers aren't made in Germany, but they certainly don't state that they are made there. Generally, I have found when tool companies are proud of where their tools are made, they are identified accordingly. Snap-on clearly states USA...

    Wurth hand tools on sale

I received most of my order from Wurth today. I purchased a number of the circlip pliers, all of which are marked "Made in Germany" on the handles. I think that these are rebranded Knipex tools and are very nice. I also ordered a number of Zebra screwdrivers. These have no country of origin...

    Stahlwille SF20/8 Offset Double-Ended Ring Spanner Set, Metric, 8 Pieces - $66

I received my Stahlwille 21x23 wrench today. I can assure you that, even though the Amazon ad and the packing list clearly state "Pack of 5", only one wrench arrived in my package. The package was damaged, but there was no evidence of there ever being more than one wrench in it.

    Stahlwille SF20/8 Offset Double-Ended Ring Spanner Set, Metric, 8 Pieces - $66

Well Well, now they're out of stock. I placed an order and we'll see what happens. I also ordered another set of the deep offset box-end wrenches (I'd ordered my first set when they were $67). Redundancy is one of my core competencies.

    Stahlwille SF20/8 Offset Double-Ended Ring Spanner Set, Metric, 8 Pieces - $66

I'm not sure I believe it. There is an ad for another size that states five pack as well, but then in the details, it states one wrench comes in the box. Who knows?

    Stahlwille SF20/8 Offset Double-Ended Ring Spanner Set, Metric, 8 Pieces - $66

The amazon ad states that these are a pack of five!!! Does anyone know if that is true, or is it one wrench?

    2022 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

Just picked up three platforms at Lowes in Danbury, CT @ $31 per. Also, grabbed a couple of DeWalt 12" blade combo packs - 32 and 80 tooth at $29.98 each. When I left, there were six platforms left.

Wilton Bullet Vise date stamping. show yours with or without EXP on slide

Thanks so much for your replies. I think that Mr. Wonderful is on the right track regarding my vise, but I'll bet this one was actually dropped on its end. The dust cap had a tremendous dent in it, which I couldn't see from the auction photos. Perhaps the dented dust cap is sign that the drop...
