College budget - 2 car garage filling it with: Snowmobiles, Bikes, and a variety toys

Alright, its time to tackle the garage floor now. I am thinking some sort of lay-it-down type of rubber is the way to go. I like the idea that ill be able to remove it and take it with me down the road and to my next living location. Something like this would be ideal: I am a bit worried...

Got some more peg board hangers, believe it or not, this is just about all the tools it took me to build my race car.

Time for another small update: One of the roomates brought home a nice little shelving unit, and I got some time to put it together and toss a few things onto it. I also got a little rack from ACE hardware for some shovels/brooms and such to hang up. The biggest hurdle that we have overcome...

College budget - 2 car garage filling it with: Snowmobiles, Bikes, and a variety toys

Today I got out of class at 4pm, and my roommate came across a construction site that had a ton of wood that they were willing to give away. Needless to say, we scored pretty big time and didn't spend money on any additional wood from here on out. We moved over the shelving unit to its final...

Thanks for the harbor fright suggestion, there is one 40 minutes from my house. They sell a 50 pack for $6.99 vs my Ace Hardware selling 3 for $3.99.

Heh, I assume a leaky gasket on the previous renters car. We are thinking we want to cover the floor with some of that nice plastic tile stuff you see in alot of automotive shops. Of course not, that's just all the tools that fit on the few peg board inserts that I bought. Our local Ace...

College budget - 2 car garage filling it with: Snowmobiles, Bikes, and a variety toys

We all work full time over the summer and part time during the school year, we spend every spare cent we make on toys or fun trips. This amount of stuff isn't acquired over a few days, but rather several years of collecting. We eat a alot of noodles and pasta too. The motorcycle is a oldie...

To start things off, I have been a long time lurker and always wanted to decorate a garage the way I wanted too. I have lived, built and raced a 1990 mazda miata for the past 2 years or so in my parents garage. Now I am away at college and finally scored a 2,600 sq ft place with a 2 car garage...
