I've got the 1/2" and 3/8" versions and love em. They are great ratchets and so smooth. I'm still lookin out for the 1/4" version, but can't find it anywhere. I think you got a good deal.:thumbup:

Thanks for sharing your review. I've had the same box except it was branded Performax from Menards. Everything looks the same as your box, same stickers except instead of Stanley it says Performax. I believe I bought both for the same price as costco. Menards also has a middle chest you can...

I bought the cheap 1/2" impact from HF and like everybody says it is pretty weak. Promptly returned it and got the earthquake, never had a problem getting troublesome nuts and bolts loose. On the other hand I've also got the HF 3/8" butterfly impact and it's worked pretty well also.

Same here...ratchets are so smooth after using super lube.

I think they're talking about the raised panel ratchets, which do ****. But I believe member Indy_500 got a craftsman set that came with the thin profile ratchets which I've heard are way better than the raised panel.

Hiball is a great seller. Bought a ratchet and breaker bar from him. Items shipped quick and responds to Pm's in a timely manner. Would not hesitate to buy other items from Hiball.
