What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Took out my frustrations on my scrap pile. Tore down some old electronics, harvested parts, copper, aluminum, some sheet steel, etc.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

But it's not leaking out of the handle, it's leaking out of the spout. Isn't the packing washer for handle leaks? I don't really know anything about rebuilding faucets, and this one isn't branded, it was just a hail-mary shot at it. None of the rebuild kits at the store looked even remotely...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Pulled the guts out of my frost-free hose bib on the house, then took it into the garage to refresh it. Replaced all the o-rings, and had to run to the hardware store to get a weird packing nut that I didn't have in my stock. Surprise, they didn't have it either. But I found a "bathtub" packing...

2026 Garage Sale Thread (15th Annual)

Not a garage sale, but a FB Marketplace find- 4x of the 7ft tall, 4ft wide, 18" deep heavy-duty Gorilla Racks: 4 of them for $200. $200 seems like a lot to drop on some shelves until you look how much they cost new. I think I paid $150+ shipping for each of the ones I already own. Harbor...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Pulled the van inside the shop early this morning to unload the shelving units I bought yesterday. Trying to beat the heat. Got them unloaded and stacked. I need to add some wood supports between the upright beams of the building so I can secure the tops of the shelves for anti-tip/stability...

    Amazon Prime Day

I have posted these before, but they are pretty awesome LED "offroad" driving lights for $21 bucks (Their price fluctuates; I have got them as cheap as $16 before). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KWCFBG1?tag=atomicindus08-20 I have a pair on my work van and my wife's truck. They really light up...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Moved another few loads of stuff from my old/small garage to the new one. I think I'm about 80% moved now. All that is left is one shelf of boxes and about 3 10ft shelves consisting of all my parts bins/cabinets. Probably only about half a van load left, but just so many small things to handle...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Took the seats out of my van and moved a few van-loads of stuff from the old garage to the new garage. I wasn't looking forward to moving all my garage stuff again, seeing as how I just moved into this house almost exactly a year ago. But moving the stuff a couple-hundred feet from one garage...

Neat. I knew you guys would know. I wonder why it's not branded, and the center recessed area goes up further toward the head, where the model number should be. Ratchets aren't my specialty at all, I just grabbed it because it was old and cool, lol.

Yes, the larger clamps are aluminum. The two ratchets: The larger one has no markings on it that I could see. Any ideas? It's pretty heavy, seems well-made.

2026 Garage Sale Thread (15th Annual)

I had to take my wife to one of her clients today, so I roamed around hitting yard sales while she worked. Some highlights: Some Xcelite & craftsman hand tools, some USA clamps, one of those contour marking tools, etc, $8 An old long-handle rake (I just broke mine, lol), and a brand new...

    Oscillating saw blades

I haven't had a blade that can survive a nail. They may exist, but I've never met one, lol.

Nut Drivers (new or old) show them here

HyperTough is sold at Walmart. I'm not sure if it's their house brand or not, but I bought a couple of their air nailers a while back.

Got this Werner 21ft 300lb-rated multi-ladder at a yard sale for $100. I normally don't drop $100 at a yard sale, but I just happened to need one of these ladders and they are like $300+ in stores.
