    Why is not wanting to drill out the panel the anti christ If something goes wrong drilling the panel I then have to pay to power company to come drop power to the house then rewire the panel

    I’m not an expert that’s why I’m not comfortable drilling the main panel. Normally when your not comfortable with something that’s the safest choice

    Adding 2 fittings to not have to be concerned about drilling there the main issue panel doesn’t seem overly complex

    I am not drilling the main panel 1awg THWN is loose wire and can’t be loose inside a wall is my understanding

    Copper Should have 3 wires since a detached building has to be grounded to a grounding rod not back to the main panel But I guess you are correct there will be a 4th earth wire in the sub to panel going out to a grounding rod
