The ultrasound is a test that our insurance company does. Part of the services that they supply. What I have been told by the inspector is it's cheaper for them to do it, then for us to get someone in to do it and fill out their reports.

At work we have to ultrasound the tank every 2 years. The numbers are recorded by the insurence company. If walls start to show a build up or getting thin they will take tank out of service.

Have that same set up on a side cabinet and hate it also. Thanks for the info just look last night looks just like your set up. Most likely will be doing the same thing.
