    Thanks. Here's the first dip into the electrolysis tank. Note there wasn't enough contact to clean up the swivel base. It's still too seized up to take apart. Amy best suggestions?

    Found on an abandoned farm yard on on 3/15/22. 5197 but can't get the jaws open enough for a date yet

    This vise was recently found on an abandoned farm yard. It's all bound up with rust and has a broken jaw but, not too worse for wear considering where it's been for the last few decades.

    Craftsman 5197 Bench Vise

    We recently found this 5197 half buried in the dirt on an old abandoned farm yard. Pretty good steel; the pitting is not too bad considering the rust.
