More than once Ive needed cut outs in 1/8” or less plate. Angle grinder cant flush cut at the end of a run. It leaves a radius of material unless you overcut each run. Dremel type tool having small discs quickly completes the job.

Dremels have there uses. Restoring camed out slots in screws is a common use. Dressing inside corner welds where angle grinders wont clear is another.

Ive gone so far as to mig weld pieces of metal sawzall blades to worn out oscillating blades. At the price point of bi metal osc. blades Im way ahead of the game. Hint, use lubrication when into metal.

After restoring this 1920’s Firetruck jack I presented it to Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell RIP as he didn't have one for his 20’s Chevy Firetruck. I’m sure he never got to use it.

Got a 40’ aspen, one of a clump that died last fall as well as some 8” dead elm limbs over the waterfall I’ll be taking down this spring. Still remember roping controls from my teens helping my dad. They were called tree surgeons back then. Only the largest firms had bucket trucks.
