Well I just finished my garage. It's a small one-car garage, and the walls were unprimed drywall and cement block. So I had to clean and prime everything first. Then came the fun part of painting it like a desert road. There is also stars in phosporescent paint on the ceiling, almost invisible...

Just found this forum and just in time too! I am from Toronto, Canada. I am in the midst of transforming my garage, can't give too many details yet, (mostly because I'm still not sure what I'm gonna do yet!) but I know I will have some questions and you experts will hopefully be able to help...
