    Nazi Eagle stamped V Block

That is a nice hand scraped v-block. I would run some precision stones on the v surfaces and not touch it otherwise.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I installed a new track bar in my jeep wrangler today. Then went for a test drive. Heard a crunch - crunch and only then remembered that my phone was sitting on my front bumper. Ran it over with both front and rear wheels. Only the back glass of the phone cracked. But the font display doesn't...

How do you park your vehicles?

In my garage, with my hobbies, I have dirt bikes, street bikes, mountain bikes, skis, fly rods, and tools and more tools. The common theme is that there is always something in the way. If I need to work on a bike or a vehicle, I have to pull out one of the two vehicles. It doesn't help that the...

Is there a portable table of some sort that you can grab with one handle and put your stuff on it?

I used to have a black+decker workmate from before they came with the wood table top. It had 8 to 10 inch wheels on it which worked to roll it around once it was folded up. I got rid of it after it got damaged and I now wish I had tried harder to fix it. I like the wooden topped ones but not as...

Thread locker/sealant for oil drain extension

This extension is outside the engine then? I would want a sealant that is permanent and that hardens so that when you take the cap off the extension it does not turn the extension. I think the 567 works for this case. It hardens to a solid. Loctite 592, on the other hand won't harden -- it is...

Need TIG welder with pulse, what would you recomend?

Get an inverter machine. I don't know how Everlast stacks up anymore. But I have an Everlast 210 AMP Tig which is about 7 years old that does variable frequency, multiple wave forms, pulse, adjustable "cleaning" ratio and so on. It does okay on low power, I have welded some pretty thin stainless...

Help: Canadian brake cleaner replacement needed due to new regulations.

I was going to reply with this including the bottles. They work great. Readily available on amazon. Also MEC is a good cleaner if you can get it.

    Connecting air compressors

There is a video on YouTube -- which I cannot find but if you have better google fu you might be able to -- that details how to string several together in a way that one trips on a second or so after the one before it. It prevents them from all kicking on at the same time and blowing fuses.

Most Impressive SO Box I've Seen

Right, and everyone in the world needs to think the same way as you. You are gatekeeping this forum. You should relax a little. Cool, attack my intelligence and politics. You don't even know me.

Most Impressive SO Box I've Seen

Um, the combination of the ridiculously expensive custom SO Tool Box plus all the little knick-knacks was more of what I was referring to. Where was it stated in the OP that they do flat rate?

Most Impressive SO Box I've Seen

The minute I saw that box, I'd get back in my car and go to the next shop. I am not paying extra to finance that guys obsession with SciFi.
