    Just a data point. Last year the PTO clutch bearings died on my 2007 LT-46 Cub Cadet (Pre-MTD ownership.) The MTD OEM replacement was VERY expensive, and the mower likely only has a couple of years of life remaining (getting tired of welding and replacing parts every year to keep it going.)...
