    Framing nailers

Don't go cheap, as in HF. I bought one from them 3 years ago and is scares the heck out of me. Shoots doubles 20% of the time. Had a friend helping me build a shed one weekend and he refused to use it. Next day he brought his Bostitch over and it was great. Can't bring myself to throw out the...

    Your go-to ratchet

I usually go with a fine tooth count. SK 40970 1/4, Matco indexable 3/8 and Bonney AA707 1/2. If I get something stubborn I grab the SK 3/8 or 1/2.

    Check your Sears local ad!

When I logged onto Sears local ad today their beta site came up. I selected the ad that starts tomorrow and it brought up 999 tool specials. The website let me add items to my cart unlike before where would make me add them to a wish list. After I logged out and then came back the regular site...

Gold plated Mac set. Get it?

I saw the socket set and also a set of wrenches in a pawn store in Brownwood Tx. Last week. They are pretty sweet looking but Id rather spend the money on tools I can work with.

Craftsman 42 piece 1/4 and 3/8-inch Drive Bit and Torx Bit Socket Wrench Set

Got this set today. Added a socket and brought the total to $31 then used a $10 off $30 coupon. For $20 I'll take a chance with it, that's probably all it's worth.

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

Tool dept manager was loading a cart full of bessey products at 0630 this morning. I look at his pool sheet and it said " pull for trash". I went and got my own shopping cart and loaded up. 24 & 36" clamps for $1.50. 4" vise for $4.50. F-clamps for $1.00. Needless to say my shopping cart was...

    K. O. Lee 1/2 drill with no reverse?

I purchased this along with an old Black & Decker at the pawn shop this week. The tag says K. O. Lee KnockOut. Tag also says AC or DC 15 volts? Believe it or not there is no reverse, only foreward. I found info on the keyless chuck that's says it was produced in the 1940's and 50's. Does...

Thanks OP. I added 6 to my collection. Left one of each on the shelf. Now I'm thinking I should have bought all of them.

    Let's see your toolbox.

IHATEMINIMUMWAGE , That's a nice collection of boxes you are accumulating. That SnapOn roadchest is great. I've had one for about 15yrs. Would buy them all day long at $30.
