Above 1200 Sq/FT The ASYLUM - Happy 40th Birthday to Me! (Est. 2005)

@shopnut I've just finished the entire thread (@Grizz1963 pointed it out to me a number of months back). That's been quite an adventure you've been on over the last 16 years. Very entertaining. I've learnt a lot living vicariously through your posts. Thanks for the all the effort, I'll keep...

We sure did!! Andy is a quality host, only wish we were able to spend a bit more time with him. Yep, this trip is tiring enough trying to get to seeing everyone and everything, then you meet people like Andy who just drain the rest of the energy out you. I hope I'm as active in retirement.

You asked, I answered... Oh, you didn't ask? Well, I'm answering anyway. :lol_hitti Fleetline refers to the fastback (Aerosedan) in the '47/'48 as well. Here's a picture of the badges on my '47.

Andy, I came to know Steve only through this thread and your comments, but now see his mark on any and all other threads I peruse. I can see what has been said about him always finding the good to say in his comments. It is very sad when someone who has affected so many so deeply passes, but I...

Agreed, as a kid when visiting my grandparents farm I used to climb the haystack and jump off the top on to the trailer which was laden with corn stalks as the tractor drove past the haystack towing it. I found it hilarious when my cousin copied me but missed the trailer, fortunately he wasn't...

Hi Andy, Still following and enjoying your exploits. I'm slap in the middle of (re)building an outbuilding that I purchased second hand. Exactly the same roofing tiles which I'll need to cap. I'll be sure to be thinking of your approach when up on my roof!! Craig

Andy, So sorry to hear this, my thoughts with his family and friends. I don't post often, but on here as often as I dare to keep up with your exploits. All the best, Craig

Looking good. Learning something new here all the time. That trick with the paper is pretty useful!

I'm, still playing catchup and living the dream through all the contributions to this epic thread. I normally try to wait till I've caught up before making comments and I'm sure others will have commented on this already (but I haven't read those yet). I just had to break my commenting rules...

Andy, I've finally made it this far on your thread having started reading while on the trip heading to your place. I guess I'm a slow reader, but I like taking it all in, and normally only spend a few minutes while commuting. I'm not going to go over all the comments made about our visit to...

I love the quirkiness equally. I imagine if I live in the US with a decent amount of space, this is the kind of thing I would add to the collection, but I don't... It was folded pretty small, and described as an "african" flag. Spotted it though... Yep, what Grizz said... Andy, you keep...

Hey all, I've gone a bit quiet as I'm back to work and as you all know I tend to be a quiet when working as I seem to expend all my energy there. As @Grizz said above, I love coke things. I doubt I'd qualify as a collector, but I certainly have the odd thing or two (like fridges, signs, etc)...
