Thanks for all the replies guys. Really appreciate all the input. The garage opener they put in is a liftmaster 3255 contractor series chain drive. I guess I will have to live with it for now. I would like to seal the concrete and epoxy it before I move in so that will be my first priority.

since I will be doing my walk-through this thursday, is this something I can bring up so they can raise it up?? Do you think they would do it for me? First time buying a house so not sure what I can or can not request them to fix. any input is appreciated.
