Do you have a picture of the rafters before the change? I have never thought of that, I have a shop almost just like yours that almost has enough room for a lift, but I would rather have a few more feet. Thanks! Ben

Nice start. You asked about dropping the ceiling. Are you planning to finish the whole garage? If so, I would almost dry wall up to those braces and around them. Then paint it all the same color and mud the dry wall to the wood. It would just add a few features in your ceiling :) No reason to...

It is for drainage. Basically a smaller dry well could be a huge hole in the ground, back filled with different things such as gravel/corse rocks/anything, and then dirt/sod on top. You pipe drainage from your home/buildings to it. It keeps it from backing up in the yard and making a swamp...

now that is crazy. What did it look like after you got it out? I wonder if they can bend the frame back without totalling the truck, if it its pretty hard to do on equipment/trucks like that.
