Crew Chief

I have been around the Motive Power Trade most of my life, growing up with my parents and my Dad as a Heavy Equipment Technician, our backyard garage was always a welcome place for all of the neighbours and Dad's friends to hang out and repair or fabricate. I went on to obtain 4, C of Q's (Certificate of Qualification)/Licences; Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Truck & Coach Technician, Automotive Service Technician and Marine & Small Powered Equipment Technician. I worked for an Industrial John Deere Heavy Equipment Dealer for a number of years, then moved to a family owned and operated Heavy Equipment, Heavy Truck, Automotive Repair business, then on to heavy industry in a steel mill before I started teaching at our local Community College in the Motive Power Department in 1989. I teach mostly Heavy Equipment Technician/Truck & Coach Technician students. I have been married for 36 years and have 2 boys and three grandchildren. Three years ago I built a 24' x 40' with 12' walls garage in my back yard and I am now working on finishing it with the equipment to be able to "Get the Job Done". Besides my full time job I own and operate Parsons Performance Parts where we supply ********* racing parts to local circle track, drag racers and street performance enthusiasts. I also own and operate a two car IMCA Style Modified Race Team. My son Tyler is the driver. I raced for 25 years in and around Northern Ontario and Michigan, thoroughly enjoying every minute of it.
