    outside compressor room

Thank you. I like to keep it easy maintenance when the hose is lead below surface. Additionally I'll run a network and power cable in that tube. It's one of those in 100mm slightly less than 4". http://www.fraenkische.com/de/Kabuflex-R-schwarz-2639.html I think to go with a high quality...

    outside compressor room

I am in the same situation of putting the compressor remote. I would need to run a line from the other garage about 30 yards/meters away. What line do you suggest? A simple air hose, or something more sofisticated? A pipe won't work since I will need to run it through a flexible plastic tube.

Engine Hoists- What do YOU use it for?

No Pictures, but I used it to lift and hold an I-beam in place when I extended a window in a brick wall at home. I welded like a braket similar you use for the transmissions to hold it from below. Great collection of other inspiring ideas.

Great. A w115 or Strich Acht as we call them over here. 3000 pounds accelerated by 65 tough diesel horses. Car of my youth. Had a w123 later, 230 E. You would like this event in March in Stuttgart again. Retro classics, loads of Benz and Porsches.

Let me compare it like a cat that circles around a mouse for quite some time. Would like to taste that sweet fruit on The one side, on the other, as you see, mostly American, mostly mopar for more than 20 odd years. Not that I am a notorious believer for Mopars, no, it just happened and I stuck...

Thank you very much regguy1. This is awesome. Still own the car? I found mine near San Diego, 1 owner, black plate car. Abused as a farm truck, 3 x painted with a yellowish farm machine primer. at least no rust, except a nice sandblasted like patina from the desert sand, all chrome complete...

which to buy: new or used lift?

Went through exactly the same decision process. My #1 recommendation is a high quality used one, e.g. As mentioned the nussbaum. High resale value, spare parts available. #2 would be: Stay away from from the cheapo Chinese stuff if you do not know the dealer/manufacturer or you are able to...

sliding storage that hangs from the ceiling

May sound strange, but Ikea Kitchen cabinets may be an option. It is usually quite good quality and they are very versatile in terms of optional kit for organizing things. You could cut that on in halves. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S89869638/
