Prep for clear polyurea over bare concrete

I used SPGX 4 years ago on brand new etched concrete. The coating is great but it definitely shows any concrete flaws. I suggest buying more than you need so you can really coat it. If i had to do it again, I would do grey instead of clear.

    Buying first air hose reel

Get a reelcraft. I see used reelcrafts for less than $100 all the time on cl, etc.

Are there an equal to snap on line wrenches?

Yes, skip line wrenches and go straight to good vise grips. Works every time and leaves only a small mark as long as it does not slip.

    Hypothetical lift disaster question

You can call a roll back tow truck to help take it off the lift. Btw, if you follow the guidelines for lifting, you wont have any issues.

Single part Polyurea Clear ONLY for garage floor?

I did a clear coating and I thought my concrete was nice. After the etch, it brought out a lot of imperfections and I wish i would have grinded or gone with a color coat instead. You should try test patch with the etch to see what the concrete looks like before coating.

    Bendpak

Re: Bendpak is seriously ****! A 2000lb lift traveling over 7500 miles from China had a couple scratches? That's not bad. The stripped plug is not acceptable but Im sure Bendpak would make it right on that. Or maybe you have a garage with some tools to fix it yourself so you don't have to wait...

    Smoke/Heat/CO Detectors in the Garage/Shop

I put in a nest smoke alarm that is somewhat close to my welding area. When it goes off(rarely), it is just a reminder for me to turn on my fume extractor. I like that it is wifi controlled and connected to my house alarms as well.

Dream Garage Build? Size and Cost for 2 Cars + Work Space

This sounds just like my situation. I even have the same driveway layout. I built a 24x30 shop, I went back and forth with HOA, city, etc. It took a year and 55k to for a complete, finished garage. The only thing is that I could not do any plumbing because the city would consider it a living...

    Future Mini Split?

You should plan on where you want it installed and add some blocking to the walls so it will be easy to mount.

Is this the "I don't want the job" price for wiring my garage?

Electrical work like you described is easy. Do some research, plan it out on paper, then do the job yourself. If you are unsure of your work, pay an electrician to inspect it before flipping on the switch.
