    Air Impacts are DEAD

I'd like to see a MW break loose a QSK50 headbolt. Much less the 95 others. Psh... Air is far from dead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hurricane Harvey Tool Loss

So sorry for your loss... I live in N Texas which is extremely tornado prone, this has had me seriously contemplating taking out an insurance policy on my tools. If they were lost or damaged, I would go bankrupt in a matter of weeks... scary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best place to get military spec battery terminals?

Correct. A lot of diesel pickups, especially the older ones, the terminals are built onto the cable, so once it's worn, you have to cut the cable to replace it, and then, it's barely long enough to reach, so you got one shot at it, after that the cable has to be replaced. And these huge gauge...

Please read if you have a Matco toolbox

That's not the point. The point is, when you pay 3, 4, 5 thousand dollars for a box, you SHOULDN'T have to add a rust inhibitor... you shouldn't have to dismantle your box and Jerry rig **** with a rattle can... I guess some people have a different definition of quality than I do. Sent from...

Please read if you have a Matco toolbox

I try to tell guys not to waste their money on Matco stuff, but nobody listens. Most of it is just rebranded Taiwan stuff for 3x the money. Our matco dealer is garbage as well. Two guys have 5S boxes here at work and they hate them. Overpriced chincy hunks of junk. Sent from my iPhone using...

Who likes 1/4 Drive and Why

I use them a lot for things that don't require a lot of torque, especially injector wiring harness nuts. Grab the ratchet by the head and turn until its snug. Snapping the post off of a common rail injector was a costly lesson that I only needed to learn once. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Toolbox shopping

Hard to beat a SO box in quality AND resale value. You may pay 2500 ish for a used one, but in 5 or so years when you're ready to upgrade again, you'll still be able to get what you paid for it, give take a 100 or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Who here has never touched a Snap-on tool?

Did I say you'd have a problem with them? Pretty sure I didn't. Actually, I'm positive I didn't. What I DID say, what there was no way in hell that "I" would use them in that capacity. I wrench at home as well, so I think I would "know" what I personally would or wouldn't do in my own shop...

Who here has never touched a Snap-on tool?

Hell, I have a little bit of everything. I get my Matco stuff 40% off through work, but I can tell you, if I didn't, I wouldn't spend a dime on that stuff. Why? Because the dealer that comes to our branch is a POS. Displays incomplete kits for weeks on end, sells tools that you ordered to...

What's a fair price for the Snap on box?

Fwiw, I paid $1500 less than retail for my 722 brand new off of the truck. Was told when I'm ready to trade it in, he'd give me $3000 for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
