If you're true to your roots it'll be a Stihl. Not sure what our definition of "entry-level" is though :ROFLMAO: My opinion would be to buy a decent battery saw first, unless you're cutting a pickup-load of firewood. I'm curious to see what you recommend though!

Oh the world we live in. I was just going to respond "I'm quite certain he just gave you his prompt word for word, all that's missing is the chosen agent/model." Did it dump out a F360 model then? Was the model usable parametrically or doesn't matter- you have parts printed/ing and I'm stuck...

    Olsen Spec Projects

His review of the Snap On box and tools initially got under my skin a little. Once you understand his perspective it makes complete sense- Matt "dislikes" anything that isn't what he feels is the best in it's category. The reason why Snap-On exists and makes sense for you is the time and effort...

Being in Florida I'd be at least talking to the team at Obsessed Garage but maybe your personalities/ideas would clash too much but . Matt's been a fan of that style lift and his taste in cars is quite similar to yours. His installs usually involve concrete work and setting them flush with the...

Congrats(?) on the growth. Your "side hustle" seems like it may present you with a few more decisions to make than what most people consider a "side hustle" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Being "normal" or like "most people" ain't the reason we're all here though. I like the PYO wheels on the...

I thought @zmotorsports might suggest some Nitto Terra Grapplers considering the budget.

I forget if the non-VES engines were known for being as reliable as the Liberty VES. I'll be interested to see what you find. Father in law had an '03 800 that wasn't great (dropped a piston once, then broke a crank the next year), an '04 700 that was rock solid and a '04 600 Classic he still...

This is to feed the filament production line, correct? Or is there a possibility of pellet feeding the printers? Either way pneumatic conveying is the way to go as long as you go with a solution that has a reasonable noise level.

Anyone running a 3-8kw CNC laser? My journey into sheet metal fab

@KwikFab right and that amount doesn't get you much for consumables or any dust/fume extraction. Although if the smaller Ozen compressors are built like our 60HP, they are very good machines- especially for the price. The machine they are selling with it is only 5.5hp - I think a 10hp machine...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Kwik Fab's Small Shop

First, sorry- I wasn't implying at all that you should have outsourced, only curious about what they would have charged. I work in a shop that has similar equipment to SCS but a far more demanding customer base so it's all the more interesting to me how we/they make a good profit on all of it...

I'd have to satisfy my curiosity every time and see what SendCutSend or OSHCut would charge. Especially considering your proximity to SCS. I do understand the hobby aspect of course- just would want to know what the "market rate" is vs the "guy in a garage" rate. Great work!!

Very curious how Absolute does in this application. My favorite way to use it is mix up a bucket as a door jamb wash rather than using the soap bucket and trying to completely rinse off without overspraying into the vehicle.

I want to say rinseless testing but I feel like you'll throw a curveball on what you're using it for.

Anyone running a 3-8kw CNC laser? My journey into sheet metal fab

I hope no one (chiefly @slodat and @jeepxj) think any of what I am saying is meant to harsh on the import machines or the people that choose to use them. I enjoy following along with the stories and can only provide knowledge from the side of the industry I'm involved in where @4 FN 27 and the...
