I'm a DIY kind of auto mechanic and also own a small engine repair service. I took 3 years of aut mechanics in High School via Vo-tech in my hometown. Then I took a semester of auto technology receiving a certificate from Allegheny College of Maryland. Went on to join the US Air Force and became a Crew Chief on F-16 fighting falcon aircraft. Fast forward to now I just work on my own cars and run my small engine business.
