It takes up too much space on the floor and ends up being a place that things get piled on. I seem to use it one in a blue moon lately so hopefully this will keep it out of harms way.
I finally I got the damn thing up on the wall today. I made a shelf with a stack of 2x4s and a upper one with two swing out stops to grab the upper legs before I strap it in place.
Sorry to hear about your dad's passing. It sounds like you are shouldering a lot of responsibility and I commend you for that.
I've worked in some tight places and it can be tough but it can be done. The first thing I'd do is pull everything out and repack it from floor to ceiling with the...
I also just got the track wheels for my project car up on the wall with a rack I got from Amazon. It was actually better than I expected for $45!
Eventually I will clear enough space to get my new Max Jax set up.
I am in the process of moving the bike storage toward the roll up door so the family can get easy access to our frequently used bikes. For the bikes we don't use as much I've hung them up in the rafters where they can be out of the way but I can get at them with a step ladder.
Any suggestions on a good way to wall mount a table saw to keep it out of the...
If anyone has pictures of how they have mounted theirs, I'd be really interested to see.
I'm thinking I could build a little shelf that sticks out from the wall and supports one side of the frame and then some...
I don't think I'll have to be too concerned about moisture here in sunny California, at least not up in the rafters. We just had a new roof put on and hopefully the radiant barrier and ridge venting will keep it a little cooler up there.
I got 8 bikes up there leaving 7 spots on the wall for...
As a guy who has sentimental attachment to some of the bicycles I have picked up through the years, I am now at the point that hanging them all on the wall isn't practical. Not to mention that my two sons who are only 3 years apart are 3 bike sizes apart which means I have bikes that are to...
My garage is technically attached but you have to go outside to get to it.
At the very least I have a multi head screwdriver in a kitchen drawer and my wife has a little lunch box and a small hammer I bought her for hanging paintings in a hall closet. Anything beyond that I start hauling things...
I've had this Bosch contractor table saw since I bought my first house 14 years ago. I don't end up using it all that often but when I need it, it's great.
Unfortunately it takes up a lot of space and even though the base folds down it still takes up a lot of square footage. I've been...
We moved to our new house about 2 1/2 years ago and I'm trying to put some concerted effort into organizing my garage as a functional work space for all the automotive, cycling, and house projects that I'm always halfway through.
