Yeah I’m lost there as well. Came without any pin. I’m thinking that was a repair and maybe the original used a typical pin in front of the nut. To use this config I expect you’d want to thread the part in the vise body, like the axle on an adjustable wrench.
I cannot find any marking except...
Can anyone ID this vise and/or point me toward photos of an intact one? This one is a bit of a Hail Mary. I tried everything to get that pin out non-destructively but it wasn’t having it.
Odd features:
Pin has a keyway
Nut loads from front of vise
How was nut pin supposed to be removed?
Random...
I see yours has the same handle retainer clip that mine does. I was expecting the cast one I’m used to seeing but perhaps they made some this way at the factory?
Thanks for the info on that handle mechanism. I think mine is fried but I’m not sure I’m brave enough to tear into it in case I...

The guy I bought it from did the...

Also stamped 23 on the bottom of the dynamic
Up next is a Reed 4 1/2 in much better shape that looks basically identical aside from the lettering.

The...
I’ve got my “new” drill mounted on a leveling base that’s up to my wonky basement floor
My next issue is a missing part. Any idea where to get a replacement 60-42 bent handle? This should have 4 of them including the table lift but one is missing. I found a comparable steel nut on MMC and...
I bought this off Craigslist in the greater Seattle area. Normally the cool old stuff gets snatched up quick but this lingered so I took a shot.
Sears Roebuck model 101.03682
Appears to be actually manufactured by Atlas.
EDIT: Found it eventually on VM (here), via via this page on GJ...
