    Concrete

    Guys I own big trucks that haul the materials for a concrete company that use these stacked three high for the bins . These blocks are in no way stable normally held up putting materials against the walls themselves . As has already been stated it takes very little to collapse one of these walls...

    WOW ,,,your back !!!! Fergus,,sorry to hear of your problems but there's always good that follows bad so hang in there. I too have had a few issues with the back and knees ,,years of owning and also driving big trucks takes a tow on does things . One of my favorite things and therapy is riding...

    Tear down or fix up?

    Without seeing the inside I vote #1 now if the inside has structural damage than you may want another option . The pics show the roof to look sound and unless the inside is trashed I wouldn't even consider tearing that building down . That 15,000 dollars could go a long way toward this building...

I've got a brother in law that would face the same up hill battle if he ever tackled his garage ,,it's amazing how they can get away from you without the attention they require .     Good job !!the only thing I may have done different ( because I'm **** about overkill ) was to have built a strap , attached it to the cross brace and down through the top plate with lag bolts . Like I said I'm a idiot about over kill sometimes and it stops me from second guessing .,,,,,,great...
