Steel Building manufacturers - any experiences?

Old thread but pertinent info. I am in central VA and myself along with three other friends all have Heritage buildings bought within the past few years. As said above, pretty basic as far as design capabilities, but that does not mean the building is subpar. Very happy with mine. 60x100x18. Two...

    Anywhere camera security cameras

I also have Reolink. I needed solar powered cellular cameras. After some research it seemed the only options were low end or super high end professional thousands of dollar systems. Nothing middle of the road. I settled with three Reolink cameras and bought a data only sim card off of Amazon for...

Ordering a red iron steel building, what to NOT forget?

You sound pretty much in the same boat I was. I needed a clear span building for what I wanted to be able to do inside. I'm in VA, and ended up with a 60x100x16 3/12 *standing seam* roof. 2 ft overhangs all sides, gutters and insulation. I used Heritage. Three other friends in the area also...

    Crushed concrete

Depends on size you are using. Yes it is cheaper. Yes it works. Yes it will have metal in it no matter what the supplier says. Honestly, fines work great once the get damp and packed, will turn hard has concrete. When you use what we calls 3s, the larger 2"+ rocks, they do work well as a base...

Lawn and Garden Guru? Year long herbicide

For gravel lots and mulch beds with only woody plants, I've had great results with Casoron 4G. Years ago when I was doing commercial landscaping, it was a lifesaver on parking lot islands and one huge hillside that was entirely mulch. This is a pre-emergent, so it's not as effective on existing...

Uneven weight on 4 post lift ok?

Just take a ratchet strap and tighten spring/a-arm/any part of suspension to frame before you use a floor jack. That will keep the suspension from drooping and then you can remove tires.

Kubota mini excavator pins and bushings

You are looking at the diagram for the bucket linkage. Need to look at diagram that they have labeled "arm". Shows all the bushings; they are serviceable. Should be able to snip the old ones out with a torch and drop the new ones in the freezer, or preferably some liquid nitrogen and knock them in.

That means the side with the door would be raised above the existing grade. Hows that going to work?

Is there ANY solution for a parking/storage jack that works with 8' ceilings?

This is what to think about. Your cars are below 46" while sitting on the ground with the suspension compressed. Depending on where you are able to lift the car from with a two post, you will have to account for suspension droop while on the lift. With the space you're working with, I doubt you...
