Lets make an all vintage Snap-on tool picture thread!

I found these at an estate sale on Friday. It had been pretty picked over and I was surprised that these were still available. -Don

    Vintage S-K Tools

Just in the 1/4” drive sets. The 1/2” drive 8 point sockets are readily available in regular S-K knurled sockets but they seem rare in the S-K Chrome marked sockets. -Don

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

I like that extra long screwdriver! Here is a 3/8“ drive Plonb WF-23 speeder that I would like to see go to a WF tool collector. -Don

    Vintage S-K Tools

I think that the 8 point S-K Chrome sockets are a cool find. I checked pictures of my S-K Chrome box and I don’t see any 8 point sockets. -Don

    Vintage RIDGID Pipe Wrenches

I was unable to resist this 1945 18” example at a Nevada estate sale yesterday. Some of the original black paint is showing and the jaws are decent. As found. Began the cleanup. -Don

2026 Garage Sale Thread (15th Annual)

We had to stop and take some pictures of this potential treasure we spotted as we drove by a yard in Minden. I had to make sure that it wasn’t the one we sold a few decades back but it was just a look alike. My wife commuted in hers for over 100,000 miles after I restored it. Post freeway rear...

2026 Garage Sale Thread (15th Annual)

A last minute Craigslist ad for an estate sale in Gardnerville, NV showing a Snap-on stack and saying “tools, tools, tools”, got us headed for Nevada this morning. Of course by the time we arrived three hours after the sale started the stack was nowhere to be seen and most of any desirable tools...

Show your Indestro and Duro-Chrome tools

This early WW2 1/2” drive Indestro set arrived from an eBay seller yesterday. It is missing a 1/2” D-I socket which shouldn’t be a problem. The ratchet is non reversing whIch was a bit of a surprise but at least it came with the drive plug. -Don

    Vintage S-K Tools

Although you can’t see the slots in the catalog image, they were very likely in this set in ‘61. Early and later 4511 sets. -Don

    Vintage S-K Tools

The lower box with the slots is slightly more modern than the upper box. The S-K emblem with the up arrow started In 1946. The emblem without the up arrow started in the mid ‘50s and was used until the change to the S-K Wayne marking around ‘62 or so. I made a bid on one of those 3/8” drive...

That’s what I’ve done in the past for all the drive sizes. -Don

I Found An Unusual Walden Worcester 1/4” drive set. Feel free to post your Walden tools here.

Yeah, this one was rust free unlike my first one. Both are kind of notchy though. Neither would be my first choice as a user. -Don

    Show us your handplanes

I couldn’t resist this at a local yard sale on Saturday, especially after I heard the price. I put it in my drawer of antique woodworking tools. -Don
