1967 "grey and red" boxes that I did a year ago. It used to belong to my dad. Wish I could find the keys to the locks. I remember seeing them 15 years ago, but no telling where they went!

Good job on the box! I just refinished a 67 Craftsman top and bottom box. Pics are on pg 125 of the toolbox thread.

It was a fun project. The rust was horrible though... heavily pitted on the bottom part. I got it as clean as I could and used some hammered finish grey Rustoleum to both hide the pits and protect it from further corrosion. I added the upper box handles since the photos. I still need to sort...

Just refinished my dads old toolbox. It is one like "Lookin4'67Galaxieconv" redid. Mine is stamped 1967 on both boxes. My stepdad thought the thing was red.... nope, that was just the rust!

Amazon has that crank pulley holder. Another good one they have is the valve adjuster tool... looks like a socket stuck on a screwdriver.

I love the finished product, personally. That's a lot of time and skill to make them look so good.
