    Let's see your toolbox.

Just added the SGS bottom box, I've now got some empty drawers now to fill. I really wanted the Halfords bottom box, but they changed the design about a year ago and the new ones are nowhere near as good.

    Show your new tool arrivals

I got one from Ebay for about £17, used it 3 times so far in 3 months, I probably won't use it again for about 5 years but really good to use and did the job far better than other methods. Like you say quality seems OK for occasional home use which is all mine will get.

    Fluke 87V....$100?

The main difference is the age of the instrument, the 87 pictured is a much earlier design, and the 'V' the mk 5 version, they also did a 187 and now the current version is a 287. I'm a metrologist specialising in electronic calibration and we still see loads of these meters each week coming...

Have You NEVER Parked a Vehicle in a Garage?

Never for nearly 30 years, spent last summer/autumn building a 2 car garage, so both cars now live inside. Used to use a car cover for the classic for the winter months, no need now :D

My little corner of the garden..........UK Build

A great looking build, I've just got my new garage watertight and like you did a lot of it myself with help from friends, (apart from the base and bricking) and the feeling is fantastic when you stand back and look at it and think 'I did that'.

    London calling

Hi, I've been lurking on and off for a few years now and finally signed up (no more adverts - woo hoo). I live in the UK, west London area and am half way through a 2 car garage build, so I'll be looking for inspiration for kitting it out. Dave.
