Does anyone have hands on experience with these tools? I have recently started specializing in larger diesel work generally ram 3500-5500 series trucks, With the occasional f-450 working off a 30,000 lb drive on style hoist. I am wanting to “tool up” and get useful things to make life easier...
M12 and m18 are awesome. M12 is great for small work and m18 is good for larger work. You have to size the tool for the job you are performing. If you looking for a larger impact for wheels get m18, if your looking for running in deck fasteners and you want a small profile m12. I have about...
Had to pick these up just because of the coincidence of me being a Chrysler master tech and one of the sets is from my birth year. Pretty neat - never used, they used to give these out for completing master technician training. Micrometer I believe is from central tools? Made in the USA...
Ok so my problem is here... this yellow box is connected to the vent switch wiring. And then it looks like it connects the red and green furnace wires (which would be a direct short)
Hi there,
I have a Lennox g43uf furnace and my issue is the 3amp fuse on the printed circuit board blows when the vent fan switch is pressed. How is the vent fan supposed to be wired to the furnace printed circuit board?
Thanks
Thanks GTA Matt, I think that was my biggest reason for asking. Sometimes you pay quite the premium for the snap-on name. But in this case it might be the one I will focus on, I suppose I just want to avoid having a better option for a cheaper price. I kind of figured the known good pictures...
I’ve been considering getting a thermal imager for my tool box as an additional diagnostic item for my arsenal. I am mainly thinking it would be useful for helping diagnose misfires, heated seat issues, and high resistance wiring issues. I don’t know tons about thermal imager features and am...
I just picked up the snap on 5 position ratcheting screwdriver in green. I'll most likely use my Milwaukee fuel 1/4" bit driver for 90% of the applications I got the screwdriver for... But I do like it for more precise interior trim fastening rather than plowing fasteners into thin dash trim...
I took a better picture of my new box
KRL1163. Currently I'm using some RGB under cabinet lights in the hutch, but would like something that doesn't emit such a blue glow. An extra bonus is it came with the 72" snap on sound bar which I mounted up high inside the hutch. I also plan on...
Awesome tool for a trained professional. it is not always the "goto tool", a multimeter still has its place. But I have not regretted buying mine at all. When your flat rate any tool that can speed up diagnosis is worth it.
.
Here is my new box. I was waiting on a price for a extreme green krl1033 from my snap on driver, but this 1163 came up locally in like new shape with a hutch... I had to jump on it.
I have some select sizes of both the impact swivels and chrome swivel 1/4" (snap-on). One application that comes to mind is 8mm driveshaft fasteners on some jeeps, you should see how much time is saved using a 1/4" 8mm impact swivel socket... The chrome sockets are amazing for very tight work...
