I too have amassed a variety of sockets over the years. They seem to always end up going home with me from the sales and swap meets. Lol I was able to find some 5/16 8 points in my stash. Let me know if they will work for your set? Dan.

Hi Don Not to sure about your particular box. However, I would definitely give it a thumbs up since long c circle H did come with early heritage logo boxes and flat wrench sets. OTG makes a valid point about metal handle boxes. My wrench set box has the leather handle.

In the photo the upper saw has the polish. I used an old turtle wax chrome polish followed by the wenol to protect.

Hi everyone, Great stuff being posted! Just wanted to share my recent find of a set of 2 “minty” C-15 handsaws in original package. Picked these up with other tools for a steal at $30. I found a description in my 1944 sears big book. I polished one of the saws but it was rubbing off some of the...

The 1941-42 catalog has what appears to be the BB hack saw. The 1944 catalog has the BF amber style handles.

Would love to get one of the BF hacksaws! Here’s my small collection of craftsman hacksaws. The darker amber handle hacksaw is a MF. Do you guys think the swooping logo is original early 30’s or issued as a commemorative?

Time to bring this thread back to the top with a really unique find. It’s a 1940 - 1941 lathe bench cabinet with the cool art deco design. Drove 2 hours, one way, to pick this beauty up. Went with intentions of buying the whole kit but they wanted too much for the lathe that is missing key...

I recently picked this up at an estate sale. I saw it posted online and just knew I had to have it. Drove over hour away into the heart of Los Angeles and well worth the trip. I also purchased some pretty cool small tools to add to my collection. Including the small Dunlap lathe. For those who...

Today’s $30 swap meet find. One of the drawers will have to be glued back together and the veneer is peeling from the back.

Outlaw- Nice score on the body hammers! Looks like you’re on your way to complete the 14- piece body and fender set.
