For everyone talking about the "$400" 87V, it's only that price if you buy it new--used it can be quite a bit less. I bought mine for $120 a few years back off eBay. Right now, buy-it-now listings are looking around $200, and auction listings are a bit lower. Still not $50 or close to it, but...

Depends on how big you want and your budget--I've been very happy with by Grizzly 15" planer.

There are lots of ways to give Wifi the reach. That's not what I did for my shop--I ran fiber in conduit for a 10G connection--but Ubiquiti has a pretty good selection of point-to-point wireless networking devices that should do the job for a couple hundred bucks or so.

As I posted up-thread, I settled on an eBay listing for a CDI 250 ft-lb clicker, used, that I got for just under $60. It arrived today, looks brand new, and includes the factory calibration certificate dated Sep 2018. I'm happy with that.
