Tim's Chop Shop - Garage Rebuild

Right now Garage is a mess otherwise I would have better pics but in the below image shows the door way to enter to storage under stairs and laundry room. Bottom right can barely see the opening but its there. Its already full of wifes holiday decor etc. Every bit is used.

Tim's Chop Shop - Garage Rebuild

Updates: So this has taken a little longer than was hoping for but with 2 kids and wife always on the go so I am I. Ignore the messes its not my style but have no room and very little time to work so unloading and repacking garage would consume too much time. I have to work in sections (yes...

Tim's Chop Shop - Garage Rebuild

Haha I doubt Jack gets jealous much after building his perfect garage... The furnace is actually used for AC during the summer when I need a break from 100 degree heat we suffer in Sacramento. It was installed before we purchased the house whom was a professional painter who spent alot of time...

Tim's Chop Shop - Garage Rebuild

Thanks! They took forever to paint and had to wet sand some runs in the red but overall I am very happy with these. Plus moving was a small feat in itself due to the uhaul door not being as big as I thought. But got them home in one piece and didn't break my back or car thankfully....

Tim's Chop Shop - Garage Rebuild

Last week I managed to get my hands on three of the Stronghold Cabinets Jack Olsen made famous.... Industrial blue wasn't my color... Flat black with gloss dark red doors seemed more fitting... Yes that is a Hockey net you see. I still play in adult beer leagues (in denial I wont make it to...

    Laundry Room Highrise Idea

Thank you. I looked into NG previously but didnt see much of a price difference and they are somewhat of a rare breed in Northern CA. Most everyone that I know have elect. I will look into again to see if something has changed. As far as the plumbing I will finish out the underneath but wanted...

    Laundry Room Highrise Idea

We did and at one point were going to do a pocket door at top to create the closet setting. The door at the bottom wouldn't feel right. We decided on finished railing which a ways out but handrail on top will be walnut and garage ceiling will be finished out with siding finished with a grey...

    Laundry Room Highrise Idea

It is resting on top on the 2x4 framing which is attached to wall along with 2x6 joists. The framing has the metal brackets attached original framing and nailed into concrete. The thing doesn't move with me trying and during spin cycles when washer goes nuts when we overload it. Cant hear it in...

    Laundry Room Highrise Idea

Ahhh that reminds me I forgot to note we decided against the door all together. So when you walk out is open air to laundry room. Adding a dust filtration system and dust vac to wood working tools which should keep it from getting into laundry area. However any clean clothes in laundry room...

    Laundry Room Highrise Idea

Ok so the build out is almost done. Not a pro at sheet rock and have to redo some areas. Oh well first time at it and had some constraints. Wife only allowed me to have Washer and Dryer down for two days to allow me to frame out floor. She doesn't feel its a top priority but I know she is loving...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

Jack curious did you cut the bottoms of your Steel Cabinets also were you able to get them moved by yourself? I got my hands on 3 of them to line a wall in my garage and plan on painting them. I however haven't decided to take the bottom legs off or leave them. My intentions is that I will use...
