Thanks for all the info. This has been a great thread to read. I have decided to order mine today. Im going with the 24k MRCOOL DIY. I have a 24x32x12 that is very well insulated. Hoping this will do the trick this winter. Any thoughts on where to order, looks like Costco online is the best price.

Thanks for all the info. I just got the second estimate back. $2220 for the gas install. That would be me buying a unit, and install myself. They would show up and hook everything up to my furnace. Still a bit pricey. Been doing research and the MRCOOL units have really caught my eye.
