Thanks, I did use my Makita XGT 10-1/4" rear handle circ saw this morning to cut some 4X6's. For that kind of task it's sure nice to have the high voltage. (it's also nice to not have to flip them over to complete the cut!) I was just curious about the 40V benefit for the smaller tools.

Just use a Panduit zip tie tool. It tensions and cuts all at the same time. They're expensive new but reasonable on Ebay.

I disagree. Mine has been a godsend for ocassional small projects and it was never intended to be anything more than a small benchtop 3 in 1 machine. If you choose the right tool for the job it'll hold it's own.

Too late, Amazon same day delivery for the win. Usually a little cheaper than B&M and a great return policy. The only thing bugging me about Amazon is that they're morphining into an Aliexpress/Temu with it getting harder to find name brands.

I'm all for B&M retailers trying to protect their inventory but there are better ways to do it. Just put tags next to the locked items and bring a tag to the register and they bring you the item. Only problem is that WalMart no longer has checkers. I don't see how they stay in business since...
