    Yes, likely be ok with a silly cycle stop valve, no real gain in my opinion with a centrifugal single stage pump. Know that when you reduce pressure thru a valve you are consuming energy and gaining nothing. Unless a PRV is needed due to an oversized pump (or) to protect downstream fixtures...
