I would try going to the Gertsner web site and see if there is any way to find the age, they might be something on how to restore the box. I think you can also buy new hardware too. Good luck, Dave PS. I have a Gertsner O42 that I bought in 1976 and it still looks brand new.

We had them at work, there's no dividers between drawers so if if the drawer goes in crooked they hang up But they are heavy duty and hold a lot. Good luck, Dave
