Here's some photos of my jack. I just bought ($20) a couple of weeks ago. It's an AUSCO model D-1901 made in the 30's I think? I even got the "Service Parts and Prices" list and diagram with it! Looks like it needs a release screw, that is broken just before the release packing nut.
