Yatg, years later ... yes the Camp Fire forced us to evacuate. Did not lose the house but was in a hotel for 3 months. Where I live now water could be an issue but not fire (northeastern Oklahoma).
Some years later Steroblan, I am older (I suppose we all are!), now pushing 82. I now live in northeastern Oklahoma. Too bad we didn't meet in California some years ago.

Could this be a wartime coating of some kind? The ends are polished and the color is a really dark brownish green. It is not rust, it is too even and there is no pitting. This wrench is actually prewar, most likely mid to late 1930s, according to Alloy Artifacts data, so it might be military...
I am a bit of a collector of J.H. Williams DUOHEX-BOX wrenches and their successors until about 1954. If you have any you don't need or want I am interested in buying them if they are numbers I don't have (and there are a lot of those!).

I have been away for a couple of years and forgotten the ins and outs of posting. This message is just to let everyone know that I no longer live in the PRC but now live in Miami, Oklahoma! Been here about 9 months.
I have some early MAC 6 point flex head wrenches and would like to fill in the set. I need a 15 mm and 16 mm. These have Sabind Ohio stamped on them. They are combo, of course, with open ends at one end.
Also, does anyone know if they were made in sizes smaller than 10 mm hex? Bigger than...
