Why not just used Galvanized steel threaded pipe and fittings from Home Depot? They are adustable, strong as can be, and you can make them out of whatever size you want. Definitely cheaper and stronger than that Tire Rack one.

Sears' problem is: 1.) They are poorly run currently. They have a habit of taking good brands and not doing much with them (Lands End, eg) 2.) They own too much real estate. This might seem like a good thing, but it weighs them down. They are one of the few "old school" big box stores left...

Why not just get an actual screw gun? A assume you are driving Drywall or Decking screws? Hilti makes a very nice screw gun and you can get the belt feed speed loader for the front of it. Blam Blam Blam.
