My grandfather was the youngest General Motors Dealers in the 40's and owned 5 dealerships in Arkansas. My father ran one and became a used car wholesaler. Buying totals and rebuilding them. I built my first at age 15. I had vehicles I had restored and new vehicles I had custom painted on several showroom floors before I was 21. The most impressive was a 1958 Mercedes 300 sl convertible which was leased from the owner and put on Stevenson's Mercedes of Dallas show room floor for a special event. Black Laquer. I did the work for my employer at the time.
