I have three Carver PM1.5 amp sitting in the garage from a garage sale I found in the spring time...now I have an idea of what to do with them!

Just oil the steel surface every so often to prevent rust. I was even thinking of trying to gun blue it to see how that would work. As for how thick of S/S...minimum 20 guage and the thicker the better to a point.

as a base you want something that won't dent like MDF. You can then top it with steel sheet, S/S sheet.

Not much but a 2 car garage but have some nice toys hiding in there..... this one is gone but was to have when it was here: it has been replaced with this one recently (dates screwed up on camera) also have a few air cooled VW's hiding in another garage.
