I pulled the line coming from the head off from the check valve and there was no leak. The tank is holding the 32 psi. Thank you bmwpower for the directions on checking the checkvalve.

I just went out and started it up again, after shutting it off manually air pressure released from check valve hose line by pressure switch, and from the cylinder heads on the right head top. It only leaks for a moment from both spots and then nothing is leaking. After it ran for 5 minutes it...

turn on - builds to 20 psi - turned off - here is what I here and from where: top right of cylinder head (black box with 2 holes) release air for a moment, pressure switch bottom - where there is a hose coming out of it - release air pressure for a moment and then dead silence No air leaks heard

I don't think it is a bad gauage, because it nevers stops running - until I turn it off

It seems like the pressure switch trips, the tank still has te 20 psi

Where are the valves located? After you turn off the air compressor, it ets the remaining pressure out of the top side of the cylinders and from the pressure switch.

I have a Ingersoll Rand T10 vertical 5Hp Air Compressor that will not build air pressure past 20 psi? It gets to 20 psi, but continues to run without gaing psi. I was wondering, if anybody has had this problem?
