    Who makes good flush cutters?

Have some Tsunoda in my cart right now. I have been using the Doyles with descent results. I have broken the the ones with the wire catcher though. Kleins are holding up well as well. Have the Icons in my home box. They are good as well but can be pricey when not on sale.

    Jonard Tools

I use Jonard tools every day. Most of it is specialty tools though. The few Jonard hand tools I have, have been okay. They seem to be Klein clones for the most part. Jonard is geared to the telecom industries more so than electricians.

how to use a thread file

While I have thread files, I tend to struggle with them. I have split rethread dies and you run from in to out on the studs. I use traditional rethread dies for clean up duty mostly.

I decided to switch all my cordless tools to Hercules

Have the cordless/corded vacuum for a while now. Its been great. Have the 12v die grinder and its been good as well. Just picked up the cordless band saw Friday haven't used it yet. May get the 7 1/4 cordless circular saw tomorrow. Seems to have good reviews. I have an older brushed 6 1/2 Dewalt...

    Bernzomatic TS7000

The wire looks like the correct length. In the plastic bushing/cup behind the trigger lock should be a spring. The arc travels from the igniter to the spring to the wire in the little tube that runs to the tip. If you pull the bushing out, you'll see where wire pokes up.

    Bernzomatic TS7000

You can barely see a few stands of wire poking out the hole on the small brass tube. The wire from the igniter sits in with spring in the housing. I would take a pencil eraser or small wire brush and clean the brass portion of the igniter and where makes contact in the housing. If you put the...

Wire doesn't run all the way up. The igniter wire goes up thru the housing into bushing with a spring. The wire to the tip is in the tube and should be exposed at the bottom. That wire on the igniter looks to be the right length. We use these type torches at work for heat shrink tubing and I...

    Bench Vise

If you need nowish, but can wait a couple weeks. I believe the Doyle vises will be on sale during the HF June parking lot sale. It's been my experience that trying to find a good, used, cheap, US made vise in a specific time frame usually doesn't happen. I have only found them while on a side...

Nut Drivers (new or old) show them here

Understand completely, doing coax work my 7/16 and 1/2 Kleins got chewed up. Got some of the HD Kleins that have a hex bolster on them when they came out. I have switched to fiber side of the business and hardly touch any nut drivers other than 1/4 or 6mm. I keep a Klein 14 in 1 in my backpack...

Nut Drivers (new or old) show them here

If I'm not mistaken you can use a 13/16 deep socket over the handle on the Craftsman nut drivers.

    Gearwrench 1/4 digital torque wrench?

Recently got the 1/4 and 3/8, needed the angle feature for a project. I found it easy to adjust settings as needed.
