    Tap and die set

I use Champion or Hanson/Irwin tap and dies at work, they typically do not let me down, even when threading stainless.

    Older Kobalt Socket Rail Manufacturer

Hello guys, Anyone know who made the old Kobalt plastic US made socket rails from circa 2009/10? I have a few and they have held up very well, they are a high quality black plastic with a ball retention system. I want to get more and would like to get the same ones if possible, just have no...

AvE vs HF Hercules has arrived

In regards to AVE, he does make mistakes and the biggest one that bothered me is the CE fiasco. I saw that and said wtf. However, I do enjoy his videos and I think he is not biased. A good example is when he took apart a kitchen aid stand mixer. He bashed the device at first and then...

Drill bits to drill out stainless fasteners

All I work on is stainless at the plant. A good cobalt bit with oil and slow speed will work well. I get the good USA made ones from the bolt supply, not sure what brand they are but they last.

Need a 21 inch Tool box with ball bearing

Got the box today will mount it tommorow. Seems solid took a little bit of a beating in transit nothing compared to a month will do to it. Made in taiwan 67lb drawer capacity and decent gauge steel. Probably last longer than the last box.

Need a 21 inch Tool box with ball bearing

Those Westward boxes are actually really good, the other mechanics have JD gators and have Westward boxes, you should see the abuse they handle.

Need a 21 inch Tool box with ball bearing

Can only be about 20'' high mounted on a ezgo electric cart. Gonna take a look at that wright. So you guys say the friction slides outlast the ball? If that is the case, I can go with friction slides. A comparable box to that blue point is probably going to be a Williams, I can get Williams...
