    Above 1200 Sq/FT BoostingAZ's Garage & Woodshop

Sorry for your loss. I have the M18 compressor and I am very impressed with it. It runs a framing nailer just fine. Will it support 3 guns on a roof, no, but for 1 person it has served me well. It is quiet, A 6 of 8 amp battery lasts a long time, it’s fairly light and small.

Painting around a gas heater (like the Hot Dawg or Big Maxx)

I have had a big maxx 75,000 heater in my shop for about 16 years now. I have done several painting projects over the years, sometimes I crank the heat up, then shut it off while spraying, other times, don’t do anything, let it run like normal, never had a problem....till two weeks ago! I was...

    painting MDF

Short answer, yes the latex will affect the MDF. The very least you should do is coat the edges with Kilz. From what I’ve learned, water based paints will get into the pores and cause the MDF to swell, so you put an oil based primer on it to seal it, then paint it with whatever you want. I’ve...

    TIG newbie

Your list is accurate, but not knowing what machine you have or what kind of torch you will be using, I can’t recommend what to buy. But the bare minimum would be tungsten and rod. What size material you will be welding will say what size tungsten and rod to buy. I have 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8...

32x48x12 is to small now.... Building a 80x100x20!

Don’t know if you still need the infloor info, but I have done several helicopter hangers with radiant. 3/4 pex, 12 to 16” spacing wire tied right to the rebar. Keep about 2 feet away from the floor drains. As far as a boiler, not sure, but a large insta hot may be suffice.

any battery impact guns capable of matching air?

I have the Milwaukee mid torque 1/2” drive, 450 ft/lbs tightening 700 loosening. I bought it for work, I’m a pipe fitter, we use it for Vic clamps, some of which have 1 5/8 nuts on them that have been together for 20 years, it hasn’t not gotten one loose yet. We call it Samuel L Jackson!

SHOW OFF YOUR VINTAGE FRIDGE!! post pictures, details and improvements made

No, the bottom isn't a drawer on this one, just a cover for the compressor. Mine ran fine before I took it apart so I didn't disturb the compressor. Just cleaned everything up and rewired it. Most of the rubber grommets were hard as a rock, I softened what I could and made do finding stuff to...

My 1st paint job with questions

You should use 2 regulators. Get a small regulator with a guage for the gun. Pull the trigger on the gun to the first step, where there is just air comming out, set your regulator to your pressure, thats your at the cap. Like stated above, dont let the full pressure come up to the small...
