The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Sounds quite feasible. Thanks for the info. Here's another view showing the wooden organizer....

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

That right there is priceless. It would likely be even funnier if I were remotely familiar with the song being parodied. Or Instagram for that matter, but I've had enough exposure to other social media outlets to appreciate that video. On topic: I'm just one more member that has enjoyed reading...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Not mine but a co-worker picked this up from a guy who worked in an automotive shop starting in the 1920's. We think it was handmade but we aren't sure. It has lots of neat little compartments. Some were obviously intended for particular items - though we can't figure them all out.

let's see your craftsman block grinders

I bought this 1/2 HP on eBay a while back. The cabinet is a CL find and the top (just sitting there for now until I get my garage overhaul further along) is some oak flooring scraps I bought at the local Second Use store. The original, enamelled tin cabinet top is a little dainty for my...

    Let's see your Shop Clock

I just got this cleaned up and hung temporarily (for its own safety) in my newly annexed garage space.

    Socket Rails

From what I've been able to dig up, these were developed by someone on one of the Jeep/Off-Road forums and made available for sale to its members first and to the general public a bit later. Then, it sounds like they were unavailable for some time. I just bought 8 of the 3/8 drive versions...

    Show your new tool arrivals

It's an induction bearing heater. Very handy for installing new shaft bearings such as those used in electric motors, centrifugal pumps, etc. Takes all of the hammering and swearing out of the task.

    Show your new tool arrivals

Maybe this doesn't count since my employer just bought it for me but...... ....I've been looking forward to its arrival almost as much as if it were my own. So much better than the old 'anvil' I struggled with for years. The old one worked fine but it weighs a ton and my job sees me traveling...

    Intro

Thanks, Dave! The Delta is actually a '68. I ended up parting ways with it a while back. A shame, too. I had put a really nice 461 big block in it and it was a hoot to drive. It just needed more love than I had time or money for. It looks better in that pic than it really did. Maybe another one...

    Intro

Hey everyone. I've been lurking here for a bit and thought I'd poke my head up and say "Hi." I found the forum during a search for better socket organizers and have enjoyed perusing the various threads. After many years of slobbery and procrastination, I embarked on reclaiming my 2-car attached...
